We do know what's going on, and we don't change the plot on the fly... we just sometimes have trouble explaining it without the full picture *we* have which invovles 5 or so more chapters than you know about. Trust us, we don't lie, we just throw curve balls and withold information. When i said "governing by comittee" I mean the fourth personality type you were talking about- there's a "normal Keti" which is when the three types are working in harmony- but due to her deteriorating condition sometimes one of the 3 that make up normal keti surfaces. thats about all I can say without giving things away.

Which of course makes me curious as to what Kaeti adds to the mix, considering previous comments from our Creatrixes that Keti's mostly repressed her fae aspect in the past. It makes sense, mind you... in a mundane world and in a household where her parents were trying to suppress Keti's knowledge of tropes (I must admit some curiosity as to why they did that, unless it was to try and give her as "normal" a life as possible), there's not really a lot that would allow Keti's fae heritage to thrive.
It's much harder to suppress instincts, which is why there's less problem with Keti's canid quarter. Though I suspect Kaeti and "Cutie" quarrels will continue, as Kaeti has proven herself to be an ambitious upstart. =^-^= (Oh dear. Keti's got an inner Starscream. *snicker*)
It'll be fun to watch, I know that much. ^^

I could go through the archive linking examples of each of the 3 aspects coming to the front briefly... but it would take hours. if you look for them, they are there.

Watch the teeth. That's one of the clues, as far as her wolfy tendencies are concerned

I remember pointing out times when I could swear Kaeti was peeking out from under Keti's eyes and you dissed me. =^-^= "Oh no, that's her canid quarter, not her fae fourth!"

Hee! I'd say "Then show me the Kaeti moments" but you've better things to do with your weekends. =^-^=
Though one moment that springs to mind is that moment of realization on the Trapped DDR when she realized if she hit the right button at the right time she didn't get shocked. The second of course being the subtext when she "fainted" into An's arms after kicking her way out of the trap. ^^;;

Hmm, i think the realization might of been hers but the actual kicking would have been were-keti's doing, she's the best of the 3 for actually getting out of trouble.

Heh. If I hadn't recently gone over your comic with a fine-tooth comb and written that meta-review, I'd probably be tempted to try and identify Kaeti elements in Keti's actions. Stuff like Keti tapping the mecha's foot and wondering how they were going to get Jimmy down, or asking about class times on Keti's late first day of classes.
The thing is... Keti is Keti. Thinking of her in terms of her human half, canid quarter, and fae fourth is... problematic, because until Keti was smacked upside the head with the Sword, she was not those aspects. She was just Keti. And while there were some fae and were attributes in her meta-personality, Keti as a whole was Keti.
I'm also curious as to what will be different with Keti now... because I suspect she's going to be ignoring Kaeti's suggestions to punish that aspect for having ignored the will of the whole and try to seize control (and in an embarrassing fashion).

seems keti has fallen into the age old woman trick of telling guys to shut up when they haven't said anything yet

Just because *someone* keeps talking when me and Kat are watching Glee...
Daniel's expression says it all...

There's more than one form of communication. We've already seen Jin and Daniel carry on silent conversations utilizing body language rather than spoken language (though how much of that is because of their were-heritage and how much is twin-speak isn't clear). Keti might not be proficient with either her were-heritage or with the twins' silent language, but she knows Daniel is saying something right now (possibly along the lines of "I told you so" concerning her feelings for An) even if he's not verbalizing it. (Amusingly enough, this point works for a chapter break. Except that we still have to get to a) the fried chicken, b) Daniel's comeuppance, and c) intermittent orbital pie bombardments. =^-^=

Daniel doesn't NEED to say anything. His point is coming across loud and clear. And for that matter, Keti doesn't need him TO say anything. She knows what he's thinking, and she knows that, as her self-appointed "big brother," Daniel HAS to tease her about this. She's just cutting him off before he gets beyond the grin that's loud enough to hear. ;D

seems keti has fallen into the age old woman trick of telling guys to shut up when they haven't said anything yet women aren't the only people who do that! i know at least two guys who like to make the similar remark: "don't you look at me in that tone of voice!" and oh yeah, daniel's face says it all.

I must admit some surprise that the gang hasn't already been reunited. Though I suppose if they're apart for a bit longer, it gives An more time to flirt with Daniel and drive Keti nutty(ier?). =^-^=
And it does give us a chance to see just how good of spell-casters our fae are. (Let's see... have to have a good sense of rhyme... does alliteration work? Heh... and does anyone use haiku to cast spells? That sounds like it would be fun! =^-^=)

So... what's the point of the magical girls, then? If they can't even stand up to an ordinary spellcaster, all that time they waste training at the dojo really seems like... well... a waste.
And the map can't be that old. Faerie was just made like 20 years ago, wasn't it?
