guys in theory you should be setting a good example by NOT taking the piss and respecting their right to practice their nutty religion however mad it might be. Just because they in theory would like to suppress our rights to be gay/have abortions/ work whatever day of the week we please, whatever doesn't mean we can't rise above it.

I have no problem with people practicing religion at all. What I think is wrong is when people try to convert others, because it's none of their damn business.

but from their opinion they are honestly trying to save you from eternal damnation...
(just playing devils advocate, they piss me off too)

Yeah, I get that some of them would think they're doing the right thing (although a lot of them also think that the more people they convert, the better they have it in heaven, which isn't very moral...)

I think that you should be allowed to beleive whatever you want. Just shut up about it!

Damn straight! And no more folking "compulsory worship" in school either. It doesn't make us any more moral! ;D

you were forced to worship in school? oh I could have had so much fun with that... Circles and candles and dead chickens, just for fun!

It was mostly "bow your heads and shut up while the teacher reads out a completely irrelevant prayer"... DIY worship would've been much more interesting ;D

can we stop dissing organised religion now, just becuase you guys seem to hate christians, paganism (and you can take it OTT, in other people's eyes) is still a belief structure......a lot of people arent the stereotypical christian/muslim/whatever and they dont all try and convert you all.............and i agree with animae
"I think that you should be allowed to beleive whatever you want. Just shut up about it!"
sorry if this pisses people off but everyone is allowed an opinion
its not cpompulsory worship unless they make you go to mass every week or are in a specific religious school, you can just ignore it, most people do anyway

I don't hate Christians at all, I have a lot of friends and family who are very committed Christians...what gets me is extremism (in any form - religious, political...) But I agree that we should move on with the conversation.
So...ribbons and unicorns! ;D

my friends at uni and I have no money after getting ready for our show, so we clubbed together to cook ourselves a big chinese meal (rather than getting takeaway like usual) then had cake!
I want to throw a barbecue when i get home.

Cake of death? ;D <--this grin is meant to be more evil. Barbeque sounds like much fun, I'm in! I'll bring...something...edible. Guess what guess what guess what? I got a job! I'm going to be working in pharmaceutical telephone research, which is basically ringing up doctors and asking them what they think about the drugs. SO much of a porn movie scenario... "Hello doctor...I'd like to ask you a few questions...what are you wearing?"
