yes but there's practically no casualites, nor is that big black cloud on the satellite actually anywhere to be seen (from someone who travelled that area of the country this morning)
My own reaction weirdly enough was "oooh look at the fireballs, I wish i was there with a camera" stupid art brain...

Fire is pretty, there's no shame in thinking so.

I randomly came across this BBC news article that was talking about Sark, a Channel Island which is the last feudal state in Europe. I was totally unaware such a place existed. "It has a population of 610 (2002). No cars are allowed in the small island, where the only means of transport are horse-drawn vehicles, bicycles, tractors and battery-powered buggies for elderly or disabled people." "Sark is, in fact, Europe's last feudal state, but not for much longer. Since Elizabeth I's time, the island has been ruled by 22 "Seigneurs" - Elizabeth thought this a good way of keeping pirates at bay - under whom the 16th Century remains alive and well." I find this both bizarre and fascinating.

The people can't get out much. I don't think I've ever met a Sarkian.

I doubt pictures will be anything special to look at, other than an absence of cars.

...Does anyone else have a bizarre urge to go there and run around quoting Monty Python's Holy Grail?
"Help, help, I'm being oppressed!"

yes but there's practically no casualites, nor is that big black cloud on the satellite actually anywhere to be seen (from someone who travelled that area of the country this morning) That's because of the 'good' timing of the explosion. Did you know it was recorded as 2.5 on the Richter Scale though?

Which is interesting, given that the 'Goth Kid' (read: anyone dressed in black) is what the Chavs perceive as their natural enemy.

They just leave us alone. I think I should come over there. That would be one of the most amusing things I've done in a while. It's been a while since I've verbally smacked someone. I would consider it a personal challenge to show these "boys" Why they are so really Really stupid.

My friend Claire who lives in england explaned that they are what we call "Ghetto" over here. Uneducated dumb people. If they talk to me i usually ignore them. Or use big words, it confuseses them and then they go away.
