Yup, we've had Will&Grace for a few years now. I don't think it ever got quite as popular as Friends, but it's close.

Every character on Will & Grace deserves to be burned. Or preferably we could just nuke the studio and napalm the remains to make sure we get the writers too. Then all of the show's followers will be rounded up and forced to repent or else join the others in the ditch.
The show is trash. Unmitigated trash.

Scrubs is my favourite American sitcom by far. Will & Grace and Friends have their moments, but there are lots of things in them that I object to.

I watched the first episode of Green Wing, and it left me cold. I might give it another go again soon, though, I heard that series 2 is an improvement.

I think there's this certain brand of British sitcom where they essentially get a group of 'perculiar' characters together and let their perculiarities run things along, which just completely fails to click with me at all. Plus there's the fact that it's a medical-based comedy and for some unknown reason I have an aversion to absolutely all medical-based programs (comedy, drama, whatever) apart from Scrubs. Scrubs is the exception for equally unknown reasons.

you make a point. But on the other had, it does the peculiar thing much more subtly than, lets say, Black Books.
