tim, milk chocolate digestives are second rate. However, palin chocolate digestives also contain milk, making them a LIE and a MOCKERY of a SHAM... will you all pleeeeeeease stop talking about chocolate... i'm going crazy... Thats because its probably plain chocolate flavoured rather than actually plain chocolate. officially plain chocolate contains no milk, neither should dark chocolate, continetal chocolate, USA sweet, bitter sweet or bitter

Yep. If you're vegan - really strictly vegan - you can't eat anything that has any connection with an animal. Not even honey.
You can eat carob as a chocolate alternative, though. Who cares that it tastes like crap?

You're gonna have to do ALL your shopping at Holland and Barratts...
And are you going to be a vegan as far as clothes are concerned too?

You can still have chocolate as long as its dark choc coz that shouldnt have any milk or butter fat in it , just veg fats and cocoa butter

Thing is, you'd probably have to get the reeeeeaaally expensive kind to be sure they haven't sneaked in any milk just to make it easier.

Isn't plastic made from hydrocarbons which were formed over millions of years from dead plants AND POSSIBLY SOME DEAD ANIMALS too? Just how hardcore are you willing to go here?

Isn't plastic made from hydrocarbons which were formed over millions of years from dead plants AND POSSIBLY SOME DEAD ANIMALS too? Bwahaha! I'll have to ask my friend if vegans have considered that. If they have, then surely it must be technically impossible to be completely 100% vegan (at least in the West) since plastic turns up in pretty much everything. And sorry to drag the conversation into the gutter here, but I just had a thought - what's the vegetarian/vegan perspective on oral sex?

surely the vegan issue is about taking things from animals that have no choice about giving...with the oral sex the animal involved is normally plentifull in the giving, like it or not
