So, sods law strikes - from what I hear, we've got some malware on the site the day the half of the Footloose team who knows how to deal with this sort of thing goes on holiday.
I'm not going to attempt to fix anything on the site at the moment, as hopefully it's something that's happening at Palace in the Sky's end and they'll be able to sort it out - plus, if I start tinkering around with things, we'll lose the site.
On the computer I'm on at the moment, nothing seems wrong - it's not flagging anything up. But I can tell from other people's comments that things look pretty wrong from where you're sitting, so could you please let me know exactly what you can see, and if anything changes, either for worse or better, let me know that too. Cheers!

Okay, I'm at my home computer and I can see it now. The plan of action so far is "ignore it until it goes away" - it's not hurting the site any

A message from Mordor:
"From Em... Over the last few days, a virus tried to attack our website and others through the palaceinthesky.com network through which our ads are hosted. The virus was designed to attack users using Internet Explorer version 6 7 or 8. Any other program (mozilla chrome etc) should have been perfectly safe. Also if your security and firewall are up to date you should be fine. If you are concerned please scan your computer, isolate any found trojans/viruses and change all your website passwords. Place in the sky also said that as the iframe/php system they use to host the ads shouldn't be able to transmit a virus, unless the ad loaded a page automatically on your browser or you actually clicked on an infected ad, you should be safe. Cat, the head honcho at PiTS apologised profusely for this attack, and I'd like to add my apologies also. If I hadn't been in transit across the globe over the last few days, I could have pulled the ads until they were deemed safe. Unfortunately hackers are always developing their attack methods and they found a chink in PiTS's armour this time- in the nearly 3 years I've been part of the network, this is the first time this has happened and I don't blame them at all. If anyone finds a virus on their computer because of our site, please let me know- I'd like the oppurtunity to apologise personally- and to know if the virus did manage to get through the iframes or not. Google has now certified the site safe again. "
