Anyone seen this?? It's a weird film about the making of a film about a book which can't be made into a film with Steve Coogan & Rob Brydon. The best bit is actually the Steve & Rob doing impressions at the end.

It's alright. I found it much like all of Steve Coogan's work: it has funny moments, but they're usually drawn out between long periods of mediocrity.
The hot chestnut scene was great though.

no im def not a fan of steve coogan, i just never found Alan Partridge that funny.....

Oh my God, I had no idea this was based on Tristram Shandy! I had to read that a couple of weeks ago for literature and history, and God it was weird. How the hell did they manage to make a film about it? The book was just him talking about all the things his dad and uncle talked about in the living room while he was upstairs being born...

That is exactly how it goes.
Dylan Moran may only have a brief role as the doctor, but it doesn't matter because he still manages to frikkin' rules.
