I did more lovely drawings... Ally I got to draw all the characters we need for later (muhahahaha) and some that I just like drawing, like Ari and Liame... I wish they had more screentime, I bet they'd make a great comedy duo...

In regards to your little annotation to the old "we're on an adventure" picture - I hadn't "just recently dug out and fixed to my wall". It was always on my wall through uni and just took a little while to get out after moving. And I have to say that all the patterns (backgrounds/Flibbage's dress etc.) make the latest page look very snazzy indeed.

Oh, it's a long and teeth-grinding story. My laptop died, and when I took it to the people to be fixed, they said it'd cost about £300. Not wanting to spend that much on a laptop that probably only has about six months left in it anyway, I went home on Tuesday and picked up my old old old laptop, which is crappy and no longer has a battery, but would (I thought) work as a glorified typewriter until Christmas, when I can sort something else out.
I got the laptop home and checked that it worked, then went to bed. In the morning, when I woke up (having not touched, moved or breathed on it since the last time I used it), it wouldn't work.
Sooooo unless Robin can magically fix it when he comes to stay this weekend, I'm going to have to go and buy the cheapest computer I can find sometime next week. (Mind you, even if it was all working, I'd still have to use the uni computers for Internet, because ours hasn't come through yet)

buy it online, and you can get a perfectly reasonable pc (not laptop) for around £200...

the gallery is pissing me right off... its refusing to work certain files no matter how many times I delete and re-upload them, saying that they are corrupted.... they work fine on the computer, none of them are significantly larger than any others, I haven't misspelled them, so I can't for the life of me work out why its taken an irrational dislike to them...

Could you try hosting them somewhere else like photobucket?

I could, and thats probably what i'll do if it pisses me off enough, but I want to start moving stuff off photobucket so all the files are in one place...

We have another set of link buttons, i decided recycling imagery was less trouble than drawing shoes, pity about that manky pink, It looked a really lovely purple in photoshop, I might go back and edit it some more... But the general gist... are they clear and legible and most of all pretty...?
been going over the html, it needs a tidy up... its all self cancelling and all over the place, I'll have to sort it out as I go through replacing pages..

yeah, but are they a hugely bright fuscia-purple, or a nice soft purple like the site logos?

Post by Animae on Nov 7, 2006 20:56:37 GMT

well maybe it's my cruddy old monitor then, I still reackon I'll go back and tamper with them though, because I'd like the two purples to match.

Because while the updates/box titles colour is a solid colour, the writing has a gradient around the edges.
