They're clearly limited on the sort of Justice League characters they can bring in, for any or all of the following reasons:
a) they wouldn't make sense b) they would overshadow Superman on his own show if they're too awesome c) the rights to their character is currently licensed out to some other company

Don't bash it. They may be B list but it's still great.
But more important news.
So you remember the picture I was doing for the mosaic celebrating JL Kingstons 20th anniversary. Well after a rather disappointing meeting when I handed it in last week I came in today after my weekend and was met by half the steering group (read head management big bosses) who all flailed about how much they loved it and how much the mosaic people and the architect who designed our building all loved it. So it's going to be made during the next few weeks with JL partners getting an chance to add a tile next Thursday. They're letting me do a whole bit myself, like a boat or a cloud or something. My name is going on the plaque that's gonna be under it. I'm going to be meeting the mayor of Kingston at the unveiling where I'm gonna be part of the ceremony. My name is also going to be accompanying the mosaic in the new Kingston Tour magazines and apparently there's some Olympic tour thing going on that will be covering stuff like the bridges of london and mosaics aswell, and they think it'll make it into that. I'm gonna be getting interviewed by the local papers and as a thank you, John Lewis is buying me an IPad!! Can anyone say OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah. I hear "iPad" and I think of all the women toiletries jokes that popped up after it was first announced.
Then again, I consider Apple Inc. to be the New Microsoft, and refuse to buy any of their products. At least Microsoft was a decent Evil Overlord. These Apple chaps are just jerks. -_-

I love being in Wychwood. Twice this week I've worried the general public by getting on the bus, at the stop outside the mental hospital, carrying Viking weaponry.

You need to wear a Viking helmet as well and peer around suspiciously at everyone on the bus when you get on. Avoid sitting near people if possible and avoid any further eye contact. Try to scowl the whole time.
They'd love that.

This is XKCD's second "map of the internet" (scaled according to website usage etc.). Such is my combined love of cartography and general geekery that I cannot get enough of things like this. xkcd.com/802_large/The Internet, being a small enclave on the continent of Spoken Language, in all its glory. It's the tiny parts that are my favourites, such as: * The island of YouTube contains the "Rick Rolling Hills (Deserted)" * "Kanye's Isle of Sadness", just off the coast of Twitter * The best way to escape the trecherous lands of the /b/ forum are to catch the Catbus Route and travel to the MMO Isle (either via Ferry to Gaia or via tunnel to Habbo) Etc. Etc. Etc. Glorious.

OH MY GOD I got to use a DANE AXE at battle practice today! It is the BEST THING EVER! It needs two hands and you basically just run at people screaming and swinging it in figure-of-eights and beat them into terrified submission. And it was AWESOME.

Ally is learning the finer art of Berserkergang.
Also it has been a long time since I've been on a roller coaster. Nobody I know who actually goes on roller coasters will ever go with me to a park to ride them! I remember the big wooden rollercoaster by the name of Excalibur way in the back of the park which was the second largest in there since the shiny new roller coaster had been put in. At the time the lines back there were almost nonexistant so you could pretty much get in the first train that came through after getting there. Naturally we took the opportunity to ride it like 5 times in a row. We'd just run from the exit to the entrance and hop back on the next train as quick as we could. It was a rough ride so I started to get a bit jittery from that. It was awesome though.

I'm an adrenaline junkie for rollercoasters, I love them! The uneasy feeling in the pit of your stomach as you queue, the blood curdling screams you let out, the vertigo, the speed, the lightheaded feeling as you dismount... the resulting headache... YAY!

The only problem is they're over far too quickly. When I'm an eccentric billionaire, I'll hire Air at Alton Towers so I can go on it for longer than the 30 seconds or whatever it is you get. Then I can feel like I'm flying PROPERLY!

I love the artwork Emily drew for me for the Wolf PACT story. ^^ (Yes, it's commissioned. But I still love it. =^-^= )

I'll be putting it online while I'm on vacation in Colorado (auto-updater). It's one of the things I'm doing to keep the site active while I'm gone.
I was really tempted to put it up early. Your artwork was just that kickass. =^-^= But I had issues with getting the first part of Chapter 1 written so I didn't have anything to fall back on storywise to put up while I'm gone (well, outside of two guest reviews and whatever I manage to write before I leave). At this point, even if I manage to get the first half of Chapter 1 written in the next couple of days, I'd not want to rush you for drawing images for that and... ah well. ^^;;
Besides. I probably should build more of a buffer of actual written material. Rushing this story isn't a good idea.

Regarding rollercoasters, I think I have to trade in my friends for new models. I need friends who understand that rollercoasters are awesome.
