I saw about 2/3 of an episode the other day.
Frankly, it sucked.
Thankfully most of the backlash I shall receive from this statement will be from people who have professed their dislike for anime, and as such I can disregard their opinions without a second's thought.
And no Stu, it is nothing like Scrubs.

Don't you dare try to pre-empt my slander. You obviously have no idea. Stuart, you would probably quite like it, its a bit odd.

Not surprising you didn't get the last episode since it was exclusively concerned with bringing together all the storylines together and wrapping them up in aneat little package. Just out of interest, can I just ask what you do find funny?I wouldn't be surprised if "nothing" was your answer or maybe endless WWF parodies are more your cup of tea.

Don't post on this thread if you are just going to be wrong. Although Spaced is very good.

- Yes Minister/Prime Minister - Red Dwarf - Family Guy - Excel Saga (anime, but I'm going to list it anyway) - Scrubs
There are many more of the classics along the Dad's Army/Only Fools lines that would be too troublesome to mention all of.
And I appear to be unaware of any so-called "WWF parodies", if you'd enlighten me as to what you refer.

uh how can you say scrubs is better than green wing? green wing is so superior in every way. and they had the comedy and romance thing balanced in a way that didnt have too much of a sickly side to it. and green wing has sue white in it, the funniest, most random character to ever grace our screens. and i laugh at how much a lot of men at my uni are (unfortunately) just like Guy in every single way. Green wing rules, role on series 2

oh, and unlike scrubs, you actually built more of a relationship with the characters and it was more of one big continuous story with intertwining story lines, as opposed to the vague non-continuity of scrubs. which means that though scrubs is easier to watch, if you started green wing half way through, some of it would be lost on you. ok, i have to do my stupid pharmacology tutorial and mustn't procrastinate any longer. dammit

There's a thing called the "Modify Post" button...
And although I've had this conversation with you on MSN I shall do another one here for the sake of the forum public:
How is Scrubs better than Green Wing? How about: it makes me laugh. Repeatedly, and consistently. I didn't laugh once while watching Green Wing, although I could pick out a lot of occasions when they were obviously meant to be funny...but weren't. Which just makes it tragic to watch.
No-one cares about the 'romance' aspect of Scrubs - it goes comedy-comedy-comedy-two minute sappy bit-comedy...like most American programs. People watch it for the comedy, which is, apparently, what most people watch Green Wing for too.
Found out who she was. Not impressed.
...Med students. ¬_¬
Scrubs has no continuity? It has ongoing storylines like that of Dr. Cox/his ex wife/her baby, or JD/Elliot, or more temporary ones like JD/Tasty Coma Wife, that span for multiple episodes if not series. How can it not have continuity if often the first thing that happens in an episode is JD walking in and thinking something like "I wonder if Dr. Cox is still upset about *this thing that happened last week*?", I wonder.
I may have only watched a few episodes, but it's not like I didn't understand what was happening in them. And besides, even you didn't understand the plot, know the characters, or anything - a comedy program should be able to ellicit at least one moment of amusement
On this, however, Green Wing failed spectacularly.

Ok, I can tell you're in essay writing mode by the amount of quotes you've put in. Don't forget to reference them in your bibliography at the end of the post or I could sue you for copyright. oh, and how can you not be impressed by sue white? especially cos all i said was who she was, and you probably don't remember all of her sketches. Oh yeah, and the rest of the world is not necessarily like you, and I think you'll find quite a few females like the romance thing, and females make up OVER half of the adult population in the UK

oh oh, and scrubs has a vague, shallow continuity. Like you can catch up with the past 3 months in a few sentences of dialogue. Dammit, I actually like scrubs, but green wing is just superior.

scrubs does NOT have vague continuity i mean from start of series to presant there have been make ups break ups i mean Dr. Cox has a kid that isnt vague. And if you suddendly tuned in youd be like what since when has he got a kid?!
