Favoring one arm like that can tire out your good arm faster, but I guess when your other arm doesn't have much to give it kinda has to be like that.
In other news: Snow. Plenty of it. It's a thing here today. I'm kinda glad I'm not starting work today yet.

Is it still snowy there? Has new work started yet? We have horrible summery days and decent spring ones mixed, lately. Also, I'm finishing school. I still have the thesis to do, so I won't have a degree for around one more year, but I don't have to go there anymore. Yay! I put together a portfolio, since I'd like to go out and get a job. A non accademic one. I hope I'll be able to do something with my life now...

I had my first day of work today. There is still snow around, but thankfully most of the main roads are pretty clear which is good because I have a long drive to work. An hour and a half at least, probably more each way is a long drive in anyone's estimation I'd think. In due time I should be trained in enough to work from home some days though, and eventually I'll move. Until then I think I'll be a busy guy.

Yep, that's a long trip. I hope at least the job's OK or well paid or both ;D . I figure it isn't bad if you'll be able to move, so I'm glad for you, X! Good luck with it

I got a fancy newish car to commute to work in and some jerks in my family checked it out and left the key in and partly on so it killed my battery. Fun things to find out when you're about to head out for work. I clearly can't trust people with nice things. At least I got it sorted out and made it to work.

Awww, man, that sucks! Good that you managed to get to work in time, though!
I'm almost done with school for good (I still have the thesis and stuff to write). So I'm kinda anxious and have a hard time concentrating on anything, which is annoying since I'd really love to draw or write or anything... ya know, work in some of my projects... I still have an exam on Friday, though, which keeps me concentrated on finishing what I have left to read.

Congrats, Tea! I'm glad you managed to pull through in the end! I finally got my grade for the last subject (I was very very mad yesterday because they were taking their time to send it), so now all I have to do is the written stuff. I hope to make it during next year and be really done with it. For now, I'll enjoy some free time ,

My boyfriend adopted a kitty and finally yesterday night took it home. He's acting like a first time mom now... he sent me some pictures of the cat before going to sleep and has called me twice: once at 6.30 in the morning to ask me if it was normal for the kitty to slap the dog and again a few minutes ago (right after he had just hung up with me), apparently quite startled at the fact the kitty was eating dog food. It's very cute.

I've had to deal a lot with feeding cats where the dog couldn't get to their food. The cats usually didn't eat dogfood, but mostly because the dog ate it too fast.

Hehe, you're basically an animal master X! Yay, Clemon Cats tend to make life more adorable. I have way too much fun with my cats, anyway. So, how are you guys doing? Are you suffering holiday season stress? I'm at that period where I'm thinking I should get some gifts for some people, but I don't seem to ever get them on time...

Good job Soff. Want to clean my room for me? I keep saying I'm going to do it, and then I don't.

I don't even bother to pretend I'm going to clean mine. Except I'll probably be moving in the not-so-distant future so I may end up doing that.

To me, room cleaning is the true symbol of vacations. I generally have an ever growing pile of clutter around the room during the year, with the excuse that I'll put it in place when I get the time. Everything gets pretty awful to look at. So it's a very uplifting thing to do. I'd totally help you, Tea! Though I won't lie, I think most rooms don't need the extreme thing I do to mine, because most people is just not as ridiculously untidy as I am. My room is especially messy because I only have half a closet, so my pants are out of it and if I don't make the effort to keep them well folded and all it just looks like hell. Also, we recently got a vacuum cleaner for the first time in years (we had an old broken one for a while). It was pretty cathartic to GET TO EVERY CORNER TO TAKE THE CAT HAIR OFF! Aaah, the little pleasures of life...!

Update on Holidays: When the family shows up with their coughing, sniffling kids all carrying their respective shools' illness of the month and they all decide to share with you, your holidays become less merry. I think a LOT of people end up with colds and/or flus the week after Christmas.
