I am thoroughly pissed off with the Body Shop. I used to really admire Anita Roddick (female entrepreneur building herself up from nothing, no animal testing, less discrimination against women than practically any other company, self-esteem campaigns long before Dove ever thought of it) and then she goes and sells out to fucking L'Oreal with their fucking shares in fucking Nestle. Just goes to show that everyone has their price.

Which is why I love lush. No selling out, and not very many people know about it, so very few people smell like me.

I have to say I can't stand walking by their shops, way too many strong fragrances all at once makes me feel a bit ill, but individually their products are very nice.

I'm in love with retead, and Silky underwear dusting powder. and Tramp shower gel, which is a discontinued and I can only get it online. or in england. One of the things that I want to do when I go to england, is stock up on stuff that can onlt be gotten from the UK shops.

I want to work in Lush. The Southampton one seems to be like Empire Records but with soap instead of CDs.

and before Tim jumps in with some comment about how little difference it makes wether we boycot their products of not, it's a question of standing up for ethics.

Boycotting does make a huge difference. When it first came out that GAP used particularly nasty sweatshops, people boycotted it and their profits went down by about 30% (which, if you're GAP, is a hell of a lot of money). So they made a lot of changes, and now they're actually not too bad. (Better than Topshop, H&M and the rest of the Arcadia group, anyway)

Ethics are things that people use to occupy their time when they've run out of worthwhile things to do.

Shut up tim. I REALLY REALLY REALLY LOVED jean greys hair color! oh my god I want it. I want it so bad. I'm gonna henna my hair with the rouge instead of the Marron next time I buy it, and see how that works, cause I figure that my hair is dark enough to ge the glowy red in it.

And a big bar of Cadbury chocolate! I love ral cadbury, not the stuff that you can buy here in the grocery store, that if you look on the label is actually Hersheys and therefore crap. Excapt for hershey take 5 bars, which true are the greatest candybar ever.
