Not really. I've heard that kind of pseudonym several times before.

I haven't...clearly I'm just too pure and innocent. ;D

Yes, because a round-about cover word is clearly far less pure and innocent than simply 'porn'.

you see? They've entirely skirted round the subject of what actually happened, leaving you to fill in the gaps, and just focused as usual on the NEVER ENDING ANGST!

Skirted around? It was blatent.
And: bwahaha, "t3h awkward".

ah you think it's blatent, but if you go back and look at the pages, practically anything COULD have happened...

I think in this case it's not because Fred loves being ambiguous, but because he wants to keep it vaguely PG, and you can't really do that when you're talking about either the melty man or (more likely) his overenthusiastic cousin...

The first is from Coupling. The second might be as well, I can't remember.

The first was indeed from Coupling. The second I just made up in the spirit of Coupling.

You say "Keeeee" as if it's, you know, in any way sudden.

It was sudden for me, I hadn't been reading for a while because I got fed up with Fred's appalling updating... It was just lovely to see Largo smiling again.

I wonder if it will ever end? Do webcomics end or do they just fade into obscurity? Have webcomics been around long enough as a medium for one to fade into obscurity ?

I think it depends on the writer, and the kind of comic. Exploitation Now ended - although it started off as a joke per page comic, it ended up developing into a huge saga which eventually led to its conclusion. I think Megatokyo will do the same, although how long it takes Fred to get there is anyone's guess. Actually, I'll rephrase that - I think Megatokyo SHOULD do the same, but part of me has the feeling that Fred won't be able to let go.
The joke per page comics seem to be the kind that don't end, which makes sense really - Garfield etc haven't ended either. I guess they just carry on until the writers and artists get bored, or they stop being funny and lose their audience.
