that's why I reserve my right not to squeak like a fangirl, and instead use a motherly "aw bless", because in the end, it's yet more procrastination with a 99.9% chance of going nowhere.

I hope Ping finds a new direction soon. She's moved on from her brief jealous phase and has now just accepted Kimiko's budding relationship with Piro. With not even Miho around to pay her much attention at the moment, she needs something else to do, stat.

His excuse is that he's finishing stuff for the fifth book. If he's anything like me he'd be exploiting it for a stealth breather.

I quote
" I'm only expecting to have to miss one comic (the one for this week). In fact, if I miss any comics after Wednesday next week, it'll mean i'm in trouble and likely to miss my deadline."
there has now been no update since last wednesday... which is a week, and totally rubbish.

Now he knows he's not going to lose his entire fanbase if he misses a few deadlines, he needs more pressure from another source...

single worst habit of webcomic makers is not keeping their deadlines, especially the ones that only update weekly... weirdly the only webcomic I know that never skips a deadline updates 5 times a week monday to friday... dedication...

Same. Least I Could Do and Misfile are both daily, LICD has never missed a deadline while I've been reading it, and Misfile only has once - and that was because a tree fell on the guy's house, so he has an excuse.

perhaps there's a certain mindset that daily comics have that the weekly ones don't... the only thing that keeps me from doing footloose all day every day is the lack of time, and the need to do things that pay the bills...

I like how in the next strip Largo hasn't moved, but is instead holding the glare for as long as physically possible in order to produce the maximum unnerving effect. That's the kind of dedication I can admire.

Hehehe...
Ugh, Kimiko appears to have had another angsty fit over her job and quit. The question is how many times are we going to have to go through:
Kimiko: Waagh Piro: Bumbling reassurance Kimiko: *sniff* Piro: Also, I have my own insecurities Kimiko: Denial of said insecurities Piro: Yay *hug*
...Before I stop caring about Kimiko altogether. She needs slapping around the face with a fish. A large fish.
