Basically, this thread is about weird, sometimes unexplainable stuff that has ever happened to you. Since I'm making this thread, I think I'll share one of mine first.
Have you ever seen a movie one time, watched it a second time at a later date and some scenes were different? I don't mean like noticing little things you didn't notice the first time, I mean the scene itself was different, to the point that it changed the story somewhat. Well, this sort of thing used to happen to me a lot, and still does, albeit much less frequently. However, when I was still really little, when the very first season of Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers was still airing new episodes, we had a couple of tapes of a few episodes. The one that stood out in particular was the one where Tommy was revealed to be the Green Ranger. The reason it stands out to me is because, in this particular case, the changes were extremely blatant, to the point that the second time watching it was a completely different episode. I don't remember the details very clearly because this happened when I was about 6, when my sense of self was still forming, but I do remember that the first time, it was as if Tommy had been completely corrupted by evil, down to his very soul, while the second time it was that he was simply possessed. I talked with my mom about it afterwards, but she brushed it aside as me missing a few details here or there. The problem with that theory? I remember things extremely clearly with near perfect detail, especially when it comes to things I like, and the viewings were consecutive because I really liked that episode; there was no way I could have been mistaken, especially when the changes were that blatant.
And that was the most normal incident that happened to me as a child. There were a bunch of others, including one time, in which the key parts are oddly hidden from me in my memories, where I could swear this older guy I was talking to said he was my future self, or something along those lines. In any case, the weirdest crap happened to me as a kid.
Now, does anybody else have something to share?

I remember some pretty weird stuff from when I was a kid, but I put a lot of it down to the fact that human brains are incredibly good at faking memories, to the point that they will put in weird shit rather than leave gaps.
As far as the episode weirdness goes, was it the exact same video/DVD? Because if not, it could have been re-edited (tons of Disney films are between cinema release and VHS/DVD release).

I would put this down to false memory (which I have experienced). Like Ally says, your brain can invent entirely convincing stuff that never happened, a mixture of real memory, imagination and suggestion from outside influences. Psychologically it's very interesting.

There was an experiment where psychologists got a load of people who'd never been in a hot air balloon, then showed them a photoshopped picture of themselves in a hot air balloon. Just after seeing the picture, the entire group said that they couldn't remember the incident at all and didn't believe it had happened (because it hadn't), but in a follow-up interview six months later, about half the group had developed very detailed false memories of the event that they completely believed. (For example, one woman came up with this very complex scenario that the balloon had been at a village fete, and it hadn't been a full flight, it had been tethered, and that was why she'd told them she'd never been in a hot air balloon).
Things like this are why I love psychology - I'd definitely have studied it if it hadn't been for all the statistics.

If it was changed, I'm shocked and appalled. Now my stuff...oy, take your pick. Deja vu hits me quite a lot, but for 4 years while I was at the same school, I had the exact same deja vu 7 times. Freaked me out something awful. Oh and, odd place to say it, but hello, I'm new on the board! I was working next to you guys at the Expo, thought I'd come say hello. Plenty of weird stories from there to be honest. I had a Jack Sparrow contest with Jack Sparrow, for one.

I was to your left, the big bearded guy who destroyed his hand drawing all day Sunday. I never said I won against the good Captain, but I tried my hardest.
Oh and yeah, another weird thing. I have a strange ability to rip off characters without ever, ever seeing them. I think it's some kind of manga premonition developed after reading far, far too much manga. So far it includes the Comedian from Watchmen, Lavi from D Gray Man, Sarah Bryant from Virtua Fighter...it's a long list. Please tell me I'm not the only one that happens to D:

oh that happens to me a lot. I blame it on manga being cliche, or stealing from my brain.
ah I know who you are now... mr-chibi-drawing-man... sorry, I'm rubbish with names.

That's the one. Wasn't just chibis although certainly felt like it at one point. For the record, the name is either Drake or Lewi, I answer to both.
And I'm glad to know I'm not specifically psychic, I was worrying myself.

Pfft, no problem. If my little finger isn't swollen and calloused, I'm not drawing enough. Yesterday it looked worse because graphite was all over it, it isn't actually deep gray

It was the exact same VHS, and no, my memory doesn't like to falsify for some reason. My memory is very odd, but extremely accurate; I've never had a false memory I would swear is 100% true. Heck, I never swore that the memory I just told you guys is 100% accurate, which, in fact, I said some details were probably off. ...Maybe it's because I'm autistic that my memory's significantly better than others'. I'd say it's borderline eidetic, and I say borderline because it only applies to things I like or find interesting, and even then it's not 100%. ...Okay, maybe it's farther away than borderline, but I know I have near genius level memory.
Now onto other weird stuff. How does having nightmares about talking dinosaurs trying to eat you two days before watching Jurassic Park for the first time sound? And to kick it up a notch, the nightmare's setting happened in the "Dinosaur of the Year" room? And further, having a continuation of the same nightmare two nights before watching Lost World: Jurassic Park for the first time?

well thats the thing NDL... you would think it was accurate, even if it was a false memory.

Yeah. Star Wars. You know, I could have sworn Han shot first. And for that matter, in Return of the Jedi, wasn't Annakin Skywalker (or however you spell his name) some older dude? (said tongue-in-cheek)

My weird crap stories are mostly dreams, or are really weird crap that happened to other people.

Anyone else get moments when you know you must have mildly injured yourself a couple of minutes ago (because of pain), but you can't for the life of you remember what happened?
