no one give me any crap about not pulling swords out of wounds... 1) Keti's an idiot, she doesn't know that stuff 2) it's important.

Yup yup. It'd be a dull old story if characters always did the right thing, after all.

Reticulating splines means something. You can't use it unless you are actually reticulating some splines. Luckily it's a vague statement and could mean a lot of things.

Are you being your usual deadpan self, or does it actually mean something? I'm intrigued...

I already knew this because it's a phrase that has always amused me but SimCity 2000 was the first Sim game to feature the semi-nonsensical phrase "Reticulating Splines", which means to make a network of splines. Will Wright has stated in an interview that the game does not actually reticulate splines when generating terrain, and he just inserted the phrase because it "sounded cool".[citation needed] The phrase has since been featured in SimCopter, SimCity 4, The Sims, The Sims 2, Spore, The Sims 3, and The Sims Social. It is also used in the web-based game Glitch. a spline. Maybe fey has splines to reticulate... she does have ultimate control over the construction of non-reality in the digital medium after all.

Depends on your perspective now doesn't it?
Also, Ally it means something in the sense Emily said more or less, but I'd add there are more definitions for splines than the mathematical version. Hence the vagueness. Depending on how you interpret what a "network" is and how loose you are with meanings it could really be a lot of things.

12_29... draw your own conclusions on what is going on... It is so much more effective without sound of any kind.

I would not stand in anyone's way for the title of biggest fan. I am not particularly big. I have been described by some as "tall", but I don't much believe the extent of that particular quality of mine is so great as to even make me the tallest fan. In fact, I am not particularly known for my qualities as a mover of air so I am not sure how much it is that I am a fan either. Presumably I may be confused about some definitions. There was a time when this forum consisted of Ally, Em, and I picking on Tim, and Stu popping in once and a while to stir up trouble. It was a tiny quiet corner of the interwebs. Not that I am complaining, since everyone here is mostly lovely. At least when tim says more than meh he's lovely.

Bah, Tim rolls off me like water off a ducks back. Or like ice cream down a cone in July.
And somehow that doesn't look quite right.
