I don't think Lice and Locusts are exactly jumping for joy either.
This week's IRL-link fact is that Frogs is Locust's Fiancee, Flies is my flatmate, and Lice is my little sister. Rivers of Blood is dating Princess Becky.

Locusts and Lice: A Legend of Lost Loves and the Last Living Little Lady?
Killing a princess' date in a fantasy story sounds like a bad idea. Just sayin'.

I imagine the CFTB are strict enforcers of the signs. You BETTER be super safe and happy, or ELSE.

03_13... she really does have faery magic! i was quite proud of the new depths of punnery I reached with 'Insta-ferno' I think that trumped feymarceuticals in the "daft puns emily made up to visually label an object"

Ally's gopher still makes me think of a scene in O Brother Where Art Thou. I don't think Jimmy would like it very much though.
And Yasha got a character sheet...
I believe she was the one who got that WoT book early a while back and made me all jealous. I'm sure she's...*checks character sheet*...EVIL. Yes, that's it.

if only we could look up character sheets in real life, it would save time.

04_01 so what do we have here...? a weapon, a minnow, Jimmy and his new... friend? And those mysterious mysterious disguise wearing, stab-happy identical interlopers... WHAT CAN IT MEAN...

I think it means the same thing it ever means. In this case it's largely encoded in the language of gophers and chipmunks so I can't be sure.

4_02 in which Tim and Emil's interactions become much more true to life; Emily jumps to mad emotion-based conclusions Tim points out logical holes in plan/argument Emily yells "Oh shut up, Tim!" and has a little strop all that's needed now is Emily and Tim to play a strategy based board game, in which Tim will strategically bluff and pretend to be allied with Emily, then betray her and Emily can have a full-on huff and hold it against him foreverrrrrr. Still childishly resenting your betrayal, Tim... >

I've heard it said that Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. I'm not sure if there is any hyperbole to that comment.
This strategy game sounds like a typical game of Risk.

It was actually "diplomacy" which is an awful, time consuming game similar to risk but with a kind of boring role playing element which involves sneaking off to the other room to make secret pacts, and writing down your move on paper before you make it -_-
