09_20.... evil laughter! muhahahaha!
Yeah um, Slayskull is a steel sword, the last person to get stabbed by it was Flibbage- this time we went for the easy option.

So I take it steel has the same effect on the fae that cold wrought iron does?
Yeah. That would do a number on An. Daniel would probably shrug it off... excepting for the insanity aspect that goes with the blade and whatever other enchantments it has on it.

We're going with the serious allergy to iron-based compounds theory rather than the magical aversion to certain practices one. Considering that there's no sensible reason why Fey should be averse to iron we might as well try and be vauguely scientific about it.

So I take it they have copper-based blood rather than iron? It would explain the greenish cast to their skin. ^^;;

I have to say I'm surprised Kitty didn't run her sister through. She shot her once already. It shouldn't be too difficult to give a dangerous but not lethal wound. And hey, hamstringing a fae with a steel blade means they can't walk again. But they can still fly. ^^
I'm entirely too cruel. I think of these worse-case scenarios. But then, I also believe villains should follow the Evil Overlords Handbook... which would pretty much mean An and the gang would die quickly, Keti would be captured and then put to death, and then an eye would be kept out for any vengeance squads (which would then catch Jin and the crew).
Yeah. Probably a good idea I'm not a bad guy in Faerie. =^-^=

Preferably before you influence anyone who writes things I read, since I would be very unhappy were anything like that to happen.

Dude. I'm evil. You should know that by now.
Mostly I consider Worse Case Scenarios.

Kitty has made the connection that the Daniel she spoke to on the phone and the Daniel she saw fighting An are one and the same. She's inferred thats there's more going on than a simple rivalry there, so she hurts Dan to see how much it hurts An. Remember these are two sisters who have ended up on opposite sides, there's a lot of sibling rivalry gone bad there and sisters are cruel.

09_19 in which our heroes are outclassed (and outspelled) again. Flibbage what were you thinking? PPS is not nearly a good enough excuse to send teenagers out to fight pirates. What WAS Flibbage thinking? She sent a group of kids out to fight a group of criminals who outnumber the kids, outgun the kids, have more experience in just about anything useful than the kids, who know the territory better than the kids, and in some ways know the kids better than the kids. The team had absolutely no advantages over the pirates. Why on Earth (or off it) did she send them?

because she's an agent of the Plot and she has a Primary Protagonist on her hands.

That and it's a well known fact that novice heroes are able to overcome tremendous odds and defeat foes that they should be unable to stand against. It is part and parcel of what being a hero(ine) is all about.
When Keti embraces that aspect of herself, she will be unstoppable.
Fortunately for villains, there is always doubt. =^-^=

Her eyes are still blue. Definitely registering on the Bodeometer.
I think Keti's were-aspect just seized control.

dun, dun, DUN! I agree with tangent -- it must be the advent of Keti's were-self.

I'd never thought of Beansprout as feral before, but it describes her very well.
