The background color is slightly off in IE, Chrome, and Opera. Firefox and Safari work fine. It is an issue with color profiles and the fact that only safari and firefox support them.

Ah. That explains why I didn't see any problems; I use Firefox at work and alternate with Firefox and Chrome at home. ^^;;

But I'm using firefox... my colour profiles are screwed...

Actually, when you think of it... isn't the Footloose universe's Earth-bound Disney World a pale reflection of what Faerie and the Emerald City is? Disney's a sanitized knockoff of the insanity and imagination of Faerie and EC. Heck, they both even have pirates! =^-^=

page 09_11... yeah don't google that poem Sylphia is reading to the horses, you won't like what you find...

So Faery IS censoring that poem. =^-^=
How amusing. ^^

I googled the poem exactly because Emily said not to. I did not like what I found, but I didn't like it to begin with. Seeing the crude language and crass subject matter was about like having a broken TV stolen before I could dispose of it. If anything it just saved me some trouble.

Well, Em did say don't google it. If you were offended, then isn't it your fault? =^-^=
Me? I played it smart and didn't bother. Besides, I was able to insert my own words and turn it quite amusing. Especially the part about the toothbrush.

That was our thought on censoring the poem ^_^ I'm anti-censoring unless it is for comic effect.
@x'o'Lore - that's actually one of the Earl of Rochester's cleaner efforts. The one I really wanted Sylphia to be quoting, I couldn't find. (In that one, pretty much every other word would have been censored)

Only Sylphia could read it with such a calm look on her face. The poor horses...

I love the bemused look An gave Keti. You know something? Even if An's not into Keti the way part of Keti wishes she was, I think An is still flattered by the attention... and enjoys seeing Keti flustered.
As for Dan... while Stu may think Dan's giving Keti a jealous glance, I think that the combination of his being almost as much in denial about his own feelings about An as Keti is, and the fact that the "sleeping arrangements" likely happened before he went to sleep, likely make it more that he's annoyed at being woken up by Keti's freakout. Sort of a "damn it, you woke me for that?" sort of thing. =^-^=

tangent - The poem did not offend me at all contrary to expectations. I was simply trying to express that I didn't like it even before I bothered to look it up. See, I don't actually like poetry. It's fun to write but I hate reading it, and the older style language makes a bad thing even worse. The dirty language that I normally associate with a lack of imagination just makes it all the more laughable and easier to dismiss.

New page! Dammit... I don't think I can make An look boyish anymore...

It's the breasts, love. =^-^=
To be honest, An has always been somewhat androgynous. So rather than try to draw her boyish, draw her ambiguous so that people look, go "cute girl! Wait, is that a guy?" The "what the?!?" factor is fun to play with.

An was never really that convincing as a boy. She just went from feminine to androgynous. It's easier to accept her as a boy when there's no evidence or history to suggest otherwise. Problem is that we know the truth now. If she starts looking androgynous again we'll still see her as a girl because we know she is.

Em, you convinced me she was a boy. The few hints didn't clue me in.
Probably the only two not convinced were Flibbage and An. Okay, and probably Kitty, but it took hearing An's name to clue in on that. ^^;;

Sylpia's response to "What is your purpose in Emerald City" is wonderful. The best part is that she may not even be toying with them. She may indeed consider that a perfectly valid way to respond to that question.
