This weekend I ended up in a&e for the third time this term. Frying pan oil to the eye, no damage. I was later rang by my bank's investigation squad... someone had cloned my card and stolen at least £600 pounds, I haven't been able to see the extent of the damage yet because I needed my passport to prove who I was at the bank, and I didn't have it. (the bank will repay me though so i guess I shouldn't stress) I sliced open the end of my finger putting up work for my final show... I had to get a bus home from coventry AGAIN because of the dumb ass trains not running. -so out with it, who's pulling the voodoo on me?

Shit, that's horrible! I'm really glad your eye is OK and that the bank will give you your money back, but even so...you're owed one hell of a lot of good karma. *big hugs* And for the people who stole your money... I wish them a night trapped in a cellar with hungry rats.

you bet it does. But Tom wisely told me that I shouldn't stress out as none of it made a permanent impact on my life, so i am trying to heed his words...

Yeah, but it's still annoying...you're allowed to be a little stressed. And kick stuff.

I had a thought today...there's a pattern to Em's misfortunes.
So far, Em has had trouble with ATMs (the card fraudster must've used them), bicycles, cake, and domestic duties (cooking oil). Someone is clearly jinxing her alphabetically.
Now, we have to remember not to get all crazy and start pointing the finger at any English students that might happen to be around... But Em, stay away from elephants, Ecuador and e coli, OK?

but where do ipods, lack of bike helmet, hash, curry, craft knives and theives factor into the equation...?
Anyway, I went to the bank this morning, and they only got £600 after all, i found a pound on the pavement, had a good tutorial and bought a terry pratchett book so things are looking up...

we've come up with a theory that it might be because I spent all term opening umbrellas indoors in order to draw them for muy final project...

I always thought they were meant to be lucky, and it was white cats that were bad (which is why Bond villains like them so much ;D)
