A common staple of web forums that I felt this one was lacking: two threads for posting random pieces of happiness or disgruntlement. Might help take some weight off the 'Girlie Thread' too...
Here we have the worse of the two threads. I have nothing really apt to hate on at the moment, so I shall merely say...boo, this Friday afternoon at work is dragging like a bitch.

I was supposed to be a house owner by now, but at the last minute the highways agency and the land registry office started quibbling over the garden boundary and now no-one can exchange contracts untill they've settled it.

*hugs* Sorry, lass. I hear they're forcing some farmer to tear down his castle, too.

thats more a case of stupid farmer thinks he can bypass law that is designed to protect arable land from being built on.

I disagree. I think anyone who can build a castle without people noticing deserves a castle. I reckon he should hide inside it forcing a planning authority seige

Oh, for Christ's sake, don't they have something better to do than argue over a few feet of grass?

I hate my teeth. My right back molar in particular, since at 6pm last night it decided to crack and now I have a hole in my molar that the dentist cannot fix until monday. I hate tooth, and I'm not to fond of dentist at the moment either.

I still do from time to time (usually at his dinner table, it seems). There aren't very many different ways the conversations can go.

Thats why I'm not doing it anymore- there is no debate when one person is thoroughly and obnoxiously convinced of their own rightness about everything.

I dont think gordon brown is to blame for the price of fillings (unless that was a completely unrelated comment by stu). Mine was NHS and only cost £29 BOOYEAH

I mildly dislike it when people steal bandwidth by using the image you host on your own website in their blog. Okay, 160 hits on that image isn't that bad. But I still am mildly irked. Wish I could block it. And I'm perturbed to find I have a pair of URLs (which I don't own) that are mirroring Tangents. Why would anyone pay for a URL only to point it at someone else's site? oO
