Hmm, it could either work, or go completely wrong, depending on the level of irony you applied to the situation, in either scenario.

Who are you kidding? Go for both. If a failure on the former leads to the latter, it'll be worth double irony points the second time around. Although I guess you might have trouble redeeming irony points under the circumstances. On second thought this might just be a terrible idea.

I love Steampunk conventions. =^-^=
I especially love dressing up with a top hat, tux, and opera cloak and walking around and not standing out particularly. In fact, I may have been modestly dressed. ^^;;
The one surreal moment was seeing Cobra Commander walk down the hall. oO

X o Lore, I like your new wizard hat wearing avatar!

Thanks. I'm actually recycling it as I used it for like a month on a forum previously. Monthly avatar themes are a fun way to change things up but you do end up with a bunch of odd avatars that you only ever used for a month.

Don't forget to wash your hands. You don't know where he's been.
I enjoy his work too. So much random stuff piled together and connected up to seem almost like some sort of cohesive story. I think a lot of what he does is just make stuff that amuses him at the time and he'll make up a reason for it later. He dang good at it at least.
I can't imagine having invented something like homestuck though. That'd bring more attention that I'd want. I already work hard enough trying to hide from people who aren't actively looking for me.

I bought some plug-in air fresheners. I already had one but this was a different brand... which I bought because they had peppermint scented air freshener. =^-^=
Okay, and also because they had a scent bit on the box letting me smell what the freshener smelled like before I bought it and hated it. I think I'll move the old one down cellar... I've got some somewhat-harsh-smelling fresheners for that, which will help cut through the mustiness of cellars. (I get periodic water down there when it rains too hard - it seeps under the door.)

I am loving doing pushups. actually I hate them but I feel like they are serving a purpose. New years resolution, learn to doing some bitchin chin-ups.

I think learning to do push-ups should be part of my "get myself physically ready to fight off evil" plan for the year.
I don't even know how to start, though, I have such noodly arms. Is it good to start with doing the plank and work my way up to push-ups?

Ally: Start by doing push-ups with your knees on the ground. That way you're still moving, but not lifting as much weight. (Planking with your arms locked won't get you anywhere, and you probably won't be able to plank without locking your arms if you can't do push-ups.) Like this.

planking gets your stomach in good shape and only very minorly helps your arms... mare is right... start by doing pushups while on your knees... and you don't have to do 100 ... start with 15-20 per day and add 5 every day or two.... eventually move to full push ups instead and drop back the number again (you'll know when you start feeling the burn that your reaching your limit)

I'm off of school for a bit, and have been sleeping in a lot these days. I got called in to work to pick up the slack for a sick co-worker (same thing happened yesterday, ugh) but that isn't for a few hours. I waddled downstairs, got the last remaining donut from a box of donuts I bought my family, made coffee, and got back into bed with my spoils. It's very nice to be in my house without nagging family members. Peace and quiet and coffee in a familiar place. Mmm.
