There's bound to be. Hey, is there any news on a second series of Firefly? I'd have thought that with Serenity's success, it'd be in the bag.

i voted Narnia as it's the only one of those i've seen, but i liked it, & Just Like Heaven looks corny. She's dead, come on! Cheaper By The Dozen does have Mr Tom "Hottie" Welling tho! i haven't heard anything particularly positive about the other films. Emmy which one is Peter?? i thought the younger brother (King Turkish Delight) was a twat, but the elder one was hot at the premier, even though i wouldn't do him because he is too young. i had fun watching Narnia with Stu & Lorz too, so it has my vote. tx *kiss*

the older one, who has the crap beard at the end.
the Producers definately gets my vote now i've seen it. O haven't laughed so hard in the cinema for a long time. However, you will only like it, if you like other, over the top musicals in the classic style.

They're both good. West Side Story has better songs but Chicago is dirtier.

I voted cheaper by the dozen 2. But thats because i'm shallow and like Tom Welling just like tor. He does comedy quite well considering he spends so much time playing a heart torn teen superhero. The makers of smallville are actually doing a new series based on aquaman.

Dunno, I've never seen the original...but I'm guessing the special effects would be better. ;D

I saw Jarhead yesterday, really good. One of those films that lulls you into a false sense of security with satire, then really really disturbs you. Its excellent.
I'm seeing memoirs of a geisha tomorrow, I can only hope its as good as the book.

I'm not going to be able to see any of these films, unless I make the effort to go out and see them by myself. And we all know that won't happen. Blah. ¬_¬

Dunno, I've never seen the original...but I'm guessing the special effects would be better. ;D it depends what ppl mean by 'better'...on one side you have up-to-date cgi n crap but on the other there are classic shots for example of a man so obviously in a monkey outfit followed by large wobbly mechanical arm being extended towards the camera. the older version wins i think.

Crappy special effects are indeed hilarious. Anyone seen Day of the Triffids?

Nope, it's real, based on the book. And it's fantastic.
Random person: Oh God, evil plants are attacking the earth! And they made everyone blind!
(Outside, behind the garden fence, we see a plant that is very obviously being pulled along on a trailer)
Random person: Aiiiieee!
Plant: Kukuku...
(Yeah, I nicked Naraku's laugh...but they do make a vaguely similar sound)

To be fair tho, the Day of the Triffids is much better in book form.. own imagination n alll that, rather than shitty American directors making it their 'own'..... oh we're so good... wow i have a brilliant idea how we can make the plant move.. cue trailer with plant attached to it...sodding Americans and their thinking... so just shud leave it to us British..

I think our special effects would have been pretty crap back in those days too...
