You can post pictures as long as they're hosted elsewhere online. Then all you need to do is put the picture's link in [ img ] [ /img ] brackets.

I know that. when I try linking them from msn it doesn't work, but then for some reson, sometimes I can get it to work. Like I said, its odd.

Meh, I don't know what MSN's like with its image hosting. Maybe it's being a bitch like Angelfire, where they hate offsite linking with a passion and try to block it at all costs.
