I miss you guys so much when I'm at uni - everyone in Southampton is so bloody normal. Like I said, there's no-one I can talk to about ninja hamsters...

My friend dave is at southampton uni and is very abnormal. Then again he's so far into the realms of strange i'd reccommend you run in the opposite direction should you ever meet him

I'm not so homesick anymore due to the fact i have almost finished my dissertation and i'm going home on sunday.
However, i'm seeing the doctor tommorow about depression due to the fact it has had an impact on my work and the module leader for the dissertation says i should get some medical note so they can take it into account when marking. Unfortunately my depression has disappeared for the moment so I don't know if the doctor is going to give me anything.

Hugs for Pete, depression does suck. Don't mention to the doctor that it's gone away for now - tell him how it was, but conveniently forget to use the past tense.

Honesty is not the best policy with doctors. It encourages them to do bugger-all.

Not true. Have you ever been to Croydon? There are parts of London that are far too disgusting and awful to go near (save for the second hand record stores that make the horror almost worthwhile).

I didn't say that London was perfect...merely that the better bits are good enough for it to beat everything else. I've not been to Croydon, although I have lived in Camberwell for a year, which is bad enough.

I tried to kidnap the president of Cyprus once. It's why I have 3 dead secret service agents buried beneath my flower beds. On the plus side, the roses look lovely this year.
