Some guy from the uni breakdancing club tried to make me join...I nearly died laughing.

Well, not so much the tallness but the lankiness. Surely it would get in the way.

Well, not so much the tallness but the lankiness. Surely it would get in the way. thanks for that... well in theory it shouldn't be - someone was telling me about a guy who's 6'7 and can compete with the best of 'em. In reality though, of course I do strain more than the short'uns (esp the japanese girls, around 4'9). My main problem is still being upside down. I'm not used to it. But my handstands will improve with time.

I can do it.
~Compfused.com, its tagline being "almost better than tacos" has a video of breakdancing.
~ from a myspace page "Interests: gingerbread martinis, figuring out how to make hogwarts real, cheesy nan (mmmm), sleeping naked, running in the rain, sushi, pretending i'm from japan, breakdancing, tacos, $10 Indian lunch buffets, traveling, skiing, sunsets, labelmakers, yoga, being a zen master, harnessing my mojo"
~ from another myspaz page "You have mad breakdancing skills and I must say that you also have mad style. The way that you bought shots and tacos for everyone sure was nice"
I think tim, that the breakdancing/tacos link should be explored...

I thought being lanky would help with breakdancing as I thought it make you a bit more flexible or appear to anyway.

My theorising is that your centre of gravity would be less stable and therefore more likely to screw up, or something like that.

Heh...that leads into my post, tedious-link style. I went to the Christian Union ball last night (no, I haven't converted - one of my friends is in it and she asked me along) and pardon the pun, but they can throw a HELL of a party! They had the best live band I've ever heard - and the buffet was almost exclusively made up of pic and mix!
