sorry, thats what i meant, but I forgot to write it down, yes of course people with medical imbalance should have drugs. but then of course theres the whole, which came first the depression or the imbalance debate which i had to study in a level psych and bored me because no one knows the answer.

and seeing as it takes time and effort for them to realise whats going on its easier just to prescribe the drugs and be done with it

wouldn't you feel better if you just didn't feel anxious in the first place though? I for instance had the psychological problems back in the days when you could still get proper counselling. Sure, I loathed my psychologist but now I'm not a nutter. comparatively speaking. I'm sure it would be nice to e not anxious, but it happens and when it does, the drugs keep me from having full blown panic attacks, so in my book they are good, at least for me.

They sound OK; they do the job and don't stop you being yourself But I agree with Em in that doctors will often just do what's easiest for them (and writing a prescription is a lot easier than sorting out any other kind of help)
