I've finished Icewind dale 2, i'm now working on icewind dale 1. Face it guys, me with a fucking great big sword is highly effective. those guys can learn all the impressive spells, but me, my backup (stu), my bard (tom), my healer (Tim), my Rogue (becky) and my Mage (Yasha) will eventually kick their asses.
do we mean wow, as in "wow cool" or does wow stand for something? Im guessing world of warcraft?
because it is "wow cool"

Caboose: "Okay, so: Tucker is the fighter, Crunch-Bite is the healer, and I am the powerful...and intelligent...wizard, Morphumax." Andy: "What the hell does that make me?" Caboose: "You're the good looking and stealthy archer." Andy: "A bow and arrow?! I don't have any arms, you freakin' moron!" Caboose: "That is what makes you so stealthy." And WoW is World of Warcraft, yes.

I do need to make another Mage as Emily's student in the game. The point being that this one will specialise heavily in their chosen element (Fire/Wind/Ice) to the point where they'll actually learn the Tetra level spells. For Emily was promoted to the higher non-elemental levels of Mage (Star, Prism, and finally Galaxy) before she was able to learn them, and as such her highest elemental spells are only Omega level.
Due to Disgaea's student/mentor system, a mentor can learn spells from their student (in that crazy backwards way). So if said Lackey Student Mage were to be Ally, then she and Emily could improve their magical prowess together, and that would make sense.
If only the sprite could be customised with an L-plate...

Ally, you can't be in my icewind dale team, because your wonky hip would be an insurance liability. You can be my honourable sensei tye person with karate skills...

I've pretty much balanced out my wonky hip with a higher level of fitness, but eh.
I love karate - yesterday I punched a fat guy in the stomach and nearly flashed everyone ;D All a lot of fun.

My flatmate played disgaea for a while. Can't remember how far he got but the last thing i can remember for definite was those stupid power ranger like people came on and they just got slaughtered pretty much straight away.
What level is the last boss as i heard the level just keeps on going and going and going and going ......... ....... and going and going etc.?

Ahahaha, yeah the power ranger people. That's actually the only level that Emily has seen me play.
"If you're supposed to be all the colours of the rainbow, why are there only three of you?" "Isn't it obvious? We don't have any friends!"
The final boss (the Seraphim) is on the third map of the 14th world. By my count, there are 61 maps in the main part of the game - not including the various alternate endings you can get by completing any number of side-quests during the game. Such as invading the Human World. You know, just for kicks.

Have you actually completed it then? My flatmate bought the sequel but won't play it until he finishes disgaea, which won't be for a long while. But then again he is taking a leave of absence from uni and will be finishing uni next year instead of this year and so has lots of time to play games.

By sequel, I presume you mean one of the multiple other games made by the same people ("La Pucelle Tactics" or "Phantom Baveheart" or "Makai Kingdom"...which, although being similar, really have very little to do with each other) - since the actual sequel Disgaea 2 won't be released for another 6 months.
I've completed the standard game (3 times, trying and finally succeeding to get the 'Good' as opposed to the 'Normal' ending). I've also done about 3 of the other alternate endings, but have 4 or 5 left to do.

But rock clubs rule! i went to the cockpit in Leeds with katy, in the mosh pit for less than 30 seconds and managed to bite my tongue by being bashed on the head, knocked to the floor and twist my leg the wrong way. Who wouldnt want that?

Poor guy. it must be depressing enough for him to have the smallest penis and his manly ego quashed without them making a whole tv show about it
