I'm sure there's been more than one before, hence it should be something other than 'V2.0'.
But then, all I know is that the one I attended sucked, and that it sucked even in relation to the usual degree with which I think large parties are inclined to suck.

Probably not. But it was still one of the 'ever-famed/hyped' Peter Tran's parties with lots of people, where there was absolutely fuck all to do other than wander around aimlessly amidst a sea of uninteresting people for several hours. Or, in the end, just hang out in the kitchen being equally bored while random paralytic morons would stumble in and out in the search for more alcohol that at this point no longer existed.
The bigger the party, the worse it is. That's what my experience has been. I'm sure if you're one of those people who are drunk and/or drugged off their skulls then it hardly makes any difference, but to be stone cold sober the harsh reality is unescapable.

Why do you get so obsessed with Peter Tran's parties? All it is is a party with lots of people no one probably knows half of them drunk, the other half stoned and a few ppl like me and tim who watch in disgust. Another reason I'm feeling not so elated with this is probably because a lot of the people who go will be people I loath, despise and have a great amount of contempt for (e.g. Stu)

hahahaha poor stu...no wait, yeh that is what those parties are normally like, and the stoners are hiding somewhere usually with stu sniffing around them for free weed...

everyone knows my party is the king of parties anyway.
But on the the other hand, you hate nearly all parties, and you don't drink, therefore, a loud raucous large drunken party would obviously suck to you. To those of us who enjoy trashing our brains and acting like idiots, it seems more fun at the time.

Partys full of random strangers are only fun if you have some sort of advantage or difference to the rest of the crowd that makes people want to come talk to you e.g. younger/older/ Only representative of your gender/ Crazy apperance etc.....

If I'm actually to attend this thing I'd need to know when it was, since I'm already having to juggle spending time in Basingstoke, in York, and presumably also revision over Easter.

I have since determined that I will be able to come up for Tran's party on the Wednesday night, but not for the birthday pub thing on the following evening. The reason being that I'm going to York for the week, and Yasha's dad is picking her (and me) up from Kingston at around 2am on the Friday morning.
While it is logistically possible for me to just travel to York by myself later on the Friday, the added cost of a £45 train ticket prevents me from sensibly doing so.
