Fuin: Sometimes your picture shows up, sometimes it doesn't...I'm trying to figure out why... Otherwise: pretty good : ) especially for someone who doesn't like doing digital. What did your commissioner want in this piece (assuming this is the thing you were being paid to do)? @pure: Ah....my nemesis...hands! Kudos for drawing them at different poses. ^^ I think you've improved a loooot since you re-started drawing free-hand. It's just excellent! mareofnight: That owl...it's sees me...through the Internet...what huge vulnerable eyes!

The owl knows your secrets (but it doesn't judge).

That owl is such a cutie, Night! And I agree with Clemon, Pure, those hands look very good. I can't see Fuin's image at all, though... I've been doing this on and off these days. I might still tweak the vest a bit for it to be more texture-y, but I'm pretty happy with it. I wanted to so something simple, but... whole, with background and all. I like doing random illustrations with my least used characters, but I have a hard time just doing it, so let's see how does that go this year.

clemon: They wanted a picture of their fursona (a striped hyena with the tattoos) dancing with a very specific font.... for a name/con badge. I apparently am one of the few people that relish the challenge of not drawing a wolf/cat/fox lol. And this is one of my commissions I'm working atm... the current one is the same sort of thing fursona's but it's a group picture with five different critters in it. Also digital. And I think i'ts because of where the image is hosted... I took an older version of it (pre qr code) from a different sources we'll see if that helps.

Oh. That explains it. This is the type of dance where one partner (the very specific font) stands straight and glows a lot, while the other waves glowy things around. ; ) Well, I can't draw wolf/cat/fox things, so you've one-upped me! Soff: This picture is so uplifting! It's warm, sunny and the character is happily reaching for new things. It's so optimistic!

DeviantArt LinkDrew myself as an Ionian Summoner. (League of Legends) Took colors from Karma's new model and applied it here. Gonna make a dark version of this.

clemon and Zamsik. I thought at the first the drawing was cross between Vayne from League of Legends and Superboy. I am a terrible person. Ally, Soff, and Clemon: Aahh thank you. The character's concept was based on the idea of "what if I was born in Ionia and became a summoner?" For those of you who might not know, Ionia is an island city-state in the lore of League of Legends. It is the home of many champions(characters) from the video game. It focuses much on peace and balance, and although they chose to be as neutral as possible don't think of them as pacifists; many of them are excellent fighters. I looked for a unifying color scheme for Ionians but didn't really find any, so I defaulted to basing the colors from Karma's recent remake, as she was redesigned to be the spirit of Ionia. I also drew my character barefoot because I don't need no stinkin' shoes.

This is where I differ. You play League of Legends and you read the lore text and draw art based on it. I play League of Legends and I look up some damage formulas and make excel documents that generate big charts of final DPS vs a wide range of enemy armor values when using a variable set of equipment. I enjoyed making some of these types of things more than actually playing the game.

Drama! I always suck at action scenes, so I think this one is pretty good. I see you've used the odd-shaped panel to your advantage. ; )

Ah man. Being unemployed when you want to be employed is really not great, but it's good to see the positives in all situations. Also, I like your lady with the sword. She seems pretty mentally conflicted about holding it. ; )

I would be too. That hook at the end seems kinda brutal. Of course something like that may not be especially sharp at the hooked end and it's purpose would likely be similar to hooks on halberds which were used to pull people off of horses. Especially armored knights. Although a sword like this would be much less practical against an armored knight, so I'm not entirely sure of the design. I'm not really an expert on such things.

The sword actually has two prongs on the end. The hook thing is a cap to prevent injury and isn't sharp at all.
