I finally finished page one of my comic! and started on page 2... gods it will take forever to do the rate am going now... I'd post it but there seemed to be 0 interest in it as a wip... so you will have to wait now until I actually get enough work done to make a page for it and start posting it. in the mean time...

Omigosh. Cool dragon! I like its regal pose. And I'm actually really curious about your comic pages (seeming as I've heard about it via art trades for what feels like over a year). When you get them done you should post at least one of them. (Hmm....maybe we ought to get a WIP/Critique thread....?)

I had the wip up on tomgeeks forever lol.... I have one done down tp even having the text on it already.... I've started coloring the second one.... (I decided last october to go for it - and now I finally am) Granted we won't see Bane or Diemor (the two characters I have for the trades atm) as adults until I get past the prologue.... Which is another 9 pages roughly

That is one lovely dragon! I love how you colored it, Fuin. And good luck with that comic. Take it easy and just keep going. You'll eventually find yourself getting to those parts that seemed unreachable and go: woah! .

Oh darn. My memory is really short. Anyhow, good luck completing the prologue then. I have sort of an attachment to Bane and Diemor, so I'd be interested to see how they get going. : D

Ooh ooh new comic! When does the site go up? Sketchpainting on a Cintiq at school-- Just a random wild woman I guess? She started as a doodle on Sketchbook Pro, which has a mirror tool (hence the slightly creepy symmetry).

When I start doing digital art all the time and not trying to build my self yet another disgusting expensive sewing project? I love how your art looks though she reminds me very much of Princess Mononoke

Haha, yeah, the thought did occur to me while I was painting. San in 15 years?

My greatest creation, mwah <3 But seriously I drew this on a bus bench and it's still there in dust a week later. Wicked.

I'm assuming it's snow/frost.

That's what I thought, but then dust was mentioned.

(I'm in Canada, so it's a lethal combination of the two.) Here's a small version of a neat self-portrait I did of myself to practice watercolor techniques. Here's a crazy high-res version. fc01.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2013/060/e/8/this_isn_t_what_it_looks_like_by_zamisk-d5wkliw.jpgSo funny story. The person beside me as I drew this was constantly staring but refused to keep a conversation going and was being kind of shy/rude (?) so I drew the knife in and coated the sucker red. Never seen somebody squirm like that, it was magnificent.

Where did you draw it? I can never ever ever draw in public because I'm always afraid someone will come by and say that it looks amazing (at which point I'll have to correct them because I still have a ton of things to fix with my art) or it looks bad (at which point I will feel bad for having someone tell me my art is bad). Hence, my skill at covering up my current drawing very quickly is pretty good.
You look kind of confused there. Like "I has a bloody knife and bloody hands, but why is it raining blood?" XD

I opened up commissions on similar pictures for others, choose a weapon and spatter amount, and I have 12 to do. Well, 7 or 8 left. Still, getting paid for art is the best thing ever.

So me and digital art don't get along... generalky however in the last month I have done more digital art than I have in years... currently I"m event getting paid for some of it (I hate digital art so I generally don't agree to it) Is the sort of stuff I"m currently doing primarily digitally... it's been fun so far. And hasn't even involved ANY tradition sketching just straight digital which for me is pretty impressive.

I haven't really done a lot of art lately, but I've also been working really long hours so...money is good.

I drew an owl for my sister for her birthday. She's going to Belize soon for a spring break educational trip thingy, and spectacled owls live there, so maybe she'll see some.
