Sweet ^^ Though I don't envy you doing tiling and flooring. My folks have done that and it's frustrating and tedious work at times. ^^;;
Good luck to you, lass.

I love my new dishwasher. =^-^=
(I hate washing dishes. So having something to do them for me? Win! Got a good-quality one too!)

I know there's a football thread, but I think I should be allowed to celebrate this in here for one post at least: CHAMPIONE, CHAMPIONE, OLE OLE OLE >_>

The Premier League title, yes.
I was there when they won it too, so Sunday was all kinds of awesome.

I found a goth club night in Oxford! It only happens once a month, but since I'm generally more of a pub girl, that suits me fine ;D

I assume you haven't got a goth pub in Oxford?

Not that I've found yet. If the pubs are anything in Oxford, they're Victorian or Edwardian (in a fun way, but not a gothic way)

To add to my earlier post... Chelsea: Premier League champions + FA Cup winners = The Double!

Tonight at the reenactment feast I met the most amazing little child in the world, who spent the evening pummelling people, chasing his siblings with an axe, and running up to a group of people, pointing randomly and shouting "I'm going to shoot....YOU!" At the end of the evening he latched onto me and, while everyone else was clearing up, we tormented his older brother (with the occasional break where the kid either climbed up me like I was a tree or told me all about how he could drive a car and a van. He's about four).
I think I'm slightly broody, which is probably an omen of the apocalypse.

I love going out with friends. Especially when I've not seen them in weeks. ^^

Yay! And I have found the holy grail of nights out... a club night in Milton Keynes that doesn't fill me with apprhension and nausea! Indeed we have located it, Milton Keyne's only Rockabilly and burlesque club! O M Actual G- as we have taken to saying (ironically I might add) we will be going to that.

Is the combination of Rockabilly and Burlesque as perculiar as I think it is, or am I just being pedestrian in my worldly views? >_>

I suppose it could easily have been created with a conversation like:
"Let's have a club with a burlesque theme!"
"How would men dress for that?"
"Erm..."
