Indeed. I feel proud that my contribution to this thread has dropped the board's overall maturity level by at least two points. >_>

On a vaguely arts-related topic, we're doing Freud this week and my reading has led me to discover the reason for Stu's eye phobia...
Stu, you're not actually scared of eyes or eye injury, oh no. You're scared of being castrated. ;D

Damn Freud, has a bullshit reason for everything...

well all his subjects were sexually repressed Vienniese ladies, you can see how a person could get some crazy ideas by psychoanalizing them.

You wouldn't think that your average Vienniese woman had problems with being stabbed in the eye, though. Then again, he's probably just extending a generic theory for wounding...
Because frankly, if someone was about to stab me in the eye, castration would be the last thing on my mind. ¬_¬

Kat or Lu rubbing their eyes with knives and kebab skewers makes him scared that his dad's going to chop his penis off. Or so says Freud.
My course is so weird. As well as the whole castration thing, I've also learned:
- Men and women don't exist - It isn't important to look at the author when studying a text - Everything you need to know about Old English grammar, you can learn from the Life of Brian

Hey Em, this'll amuse you. I went to see the uni group do Peter Pan last night and overheard the guy in the row behind me saying "I went to Stratford upon Avon once and saw this production of A Midsummer Night's Dream where they all stripped off down to their underwear!"
As for the play - Hook was great, as always. The others were OK too.
